Things To Do At Home During Lockdown

Going out with friends, or joining activities may be the way you ideally like to spend your time however with the rise of Covid-19 it has been more important than ever to stay home.

I work from home so I know more than anyone what it's like to be..well.. at home a lot so I thought I'd share my ideas on things to keep you busy.


1. Netflix

Ok ok, you must have known this would be somewhere. Netflix is great because of the amazing selection of movies and tv shows.


2. Start a business

I don't know about you, but since March many amazing small businesses have been built. Why not use your spare time wisely and see if you can build your very own business. Remember it doesn't have to cost you a penny to build at first.


3. Create a blog/vlog

How about documenting your lockdown experience? It may actually push you to do more fun things to make it more interesting.


4. Start a podcast

Similar to number 3, a podcast could be a fun activity to try. You don't need much tech to get started.


5. Play games

I know that it may not be so healthy to play games too often, but this includes board games also. I have been playing Among Us randomly on my mobile.


6. Go through your wardrobe/do a sort out

If you know me personally, you know I hate clutter! Why not do a spring clean, clear out items you no longer need and give them to charity if possible.


7. Learn a new skill/language

One day I will learn French fluently! There's no better time than now to learn a new skill


8. Home workouts

Just because you're at home, doesn't mean you can't exercise. I personally will be going out for walks as my exercise but if you don't want to leave home, there's many free routines to follow on Youtube.


9. Pamper yourself

Do your hair, paint your nails (and this isn't just for the ladies ;) ) make yourself feel pampered even if you're staying at home.


10. Bake

.. or learn to bake in my case. I've always found it fun to cook something from scratch, why not try baking.
